2D Animator

Role Responsibilities

  • Animate 2D characters, enemies, UI elements, and environmental props using [Unity]
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure animations read clearly in gameplay and match timing windows
  • Iterate on animations based on feedback from art direction and playtesting
  • Contribute to animation rigs, particle effects, or cutscene storyboards

Role Requirements

  • Portfolio demonstrating 2D character animation (motion, weight, timing, appeal)
  • Proficiency in at least one of: Unity, Spine, or similar motion Animation software.
  • Basic understanding of animation principles (squash & stretch, anticipation, follow-through)
  • Self-motivated with good communication skills; comfortable working asynchronously if remote
Notes
  • Familiar with anime/manga/game/vtuber culture, being a weeb is a plus!
  • Remote available (on-site Surabaya preferred)
